The Mamono Slayer, or the Monster Slayer, is the upgraded version of the Sword of Hope. This upgrade can be found in both Fairune games and is necessary to complete the game.

Upon entering the Administrators' Tower, the player must place the Warrior Statue on one of the switches and then the player themselves on the other. Doing so will activate the main-central computer, prompting the player to use their Sword of Hope to upgrade.

- Aside from the usage of the Dragon Scale and Mamono Slayer combination to transform into the Monster Slayer Style at Endgame, the "upgrade" does not improve Hope Girl's strength nor ability and renders the item just as an aesthetic improvement.
- Fairune 2 never clarifies the meaning behind the "blue thing" as noted on this item's description but they are the Bit- monsters in the secrets files
